bluefin tuna tataki – avocado cream + Brut Nature
Recette tataki thon crème d'avocat

    List of ingredients
  • Serves 4
  • 600g extra fresh (or frozen) bluefin tuna
  • 5 tbs. salted soy sauce
  • 3 tbs. sesame oil
  • 5 cm ginger
  • 2 limes
  • 3 tbs. sesame seeds
  • 2 avocados
  • Colza oil
  • Salt
  • Espelette pepper (or black pepper)
    Preparation steps
  1. Cut the tuna into thick slices.
  2. Marinade: mix the soy sauce, the sesame oil, the grated ginger, and the juice of 1,5 lime.
  3. Dip the tuna in the marinade and turn it over to coat. Put it into the fridge during 1h.
  4. Take off the tuna slices from the marinade. Roll them in the sesame seeds. Reserve the marinade.
  5. In a very hot pan with oil, cook very quickly the tuna on each side. It must remain raw inside.
  6. Cut the tuna into thinner slices.
  7. Mix the avocados with the 1/2 lime juice. Add salt and a pinch of Espelette pepper
  8. Serve the tuna with the avocado cream and the marinade.
  9. And finally serve a glass of Brut Nature. Cheers !
